Outside of the classroom, CR students enjoy unique outdoor recreation, art and cultural opportunities. Cultural activities abound with hundreds of local events and festivals. There are more artists per capita in Humboldt County than any other place in California. Visit the area’s art galleries, museums, theaters and performance venues. Enjoy the vibrant musical scene, including the local bands and outside musicians coming for a visit!
Outdoor recreation opportunities are virtually limitless in the CR District. With seven powerful rivers, the Pacific Ocean, 许多湖泊, as well as county, state and national parks, and wilderness areas, students live in the center of a recreational paradise.
